Boy, I haven't even been here two days yet, and I already feel very much at home here. Even though I can't play music worth a snot, it does play a major factor in my life. The melodies and chords in songs I like are almost like a drug... I lose myself in them.

I've already found some great stuff here, and even a couple of songs that have brought tears to my eyes.

It's all good.

Hmm... my first journal post. Well, I guess I will tell you guys a little bit about myself, if you're at all interested.

I'm an out-of-work graphic designer (no work for 6 months makes Jack a dull boy!) living in the middle Tennessee area.

I have an interest in all things spiritual or paranormal, but I don't belong to any set religion (nor will I.) Don't get me wrong, I certainly do believe in God, but there's more than one path to the pearly gates, you know? My path is spread out in front of me, and that's all I need to know.

I've been married for about 7 years now, no kids. And until the job/money situation improves, there won't be kids either.

I have an "ear" for music, but never learned to play an instrument. I used to be able to sing pretty well (I have a high pitch... must be all that singing to Rush songs ) but I'm a bit out of practice...

Oh well, that's all I can think of at the moment... Take care everyone!
